At Artfinder, we are committed to doing as much good as we can. In 2021, we planted more than 100,000 trees, saw a record 60% of items sold by women, increased our Trustpilot score to 4.9, improved artist payment times and much more. Read all about it through our latest impact report.
In November 2020, we started funding the planting of at least one tree for every artwork sold through the site, in partnership with Ecologi. In two years, we’ve planted over 167,000 trees and have offset 480.17 tonnes of CO2e. This means we achieved our goal of planting 100,000 trees in 2021 and we aim to plant even more in 2022 and beyond.
We have joined The Million Tree Pledge as a founder member, committing to Artfinder planting one million trees by 2030. We’re also a ‘climate positive workforce’ meaning that carbon is offset for every Artfinder employee, including one tree planted per employee, per month.
On Artfinder, women get the opportunity to be truly equal, with an all-time total population of Artfinder split 54% women, 43% men (and 3% unknown).
Artfinder also help more female artists sell, with women creating 60% of all art sold through the platform in 2021 — higher than years previous.
